AREA 6 Career Development Conference

CAREER DEVELOPMENT CONFERENCES

DECA’s Career Development Conferences (CDCs) are where emerging leaders and entrepreneurs showcase their educational mastery, leadership experience, and professional skills!

DECA is a global organization offering with nearly 4,000 high schools around the world participating in DECA’s 50 Career Development Competitive Events Program. Competitive events are a cornerstone of becoming college and career ready graduates and are validated by industry and education for rigor and relevance.

DECA Competitive Events are performance-based requiring demonstration of knowledge and skill in a project or role play scenario concentrated in entrepreneurship, marketing, finance, hospitality, and management.

Competitive Events start in the classroom where teachers and students work together on projects, case-studies, role plays, and even virtual simulations during the year. Then, each January-May is DECA Competitive Event season around the world at DECA Career Development Conferences at the regional, state, and international levels.

AREA CAREER DEVELOPMENT CONFERENCES
