Why kids should get good grades
Everyone should try to get good grades in school but why? Well there is a couple of reasons why you should strive to get good grades, One reason is that you can get scholarships this means you get money to go to a college you want to go to so you don't end up in student debt that can last until your late 30s! Another reason is that you can go to better colleges if you have a better GPA that means you can get a better job and make more money when you get a job. The final reason is that when you maintain good grades you develop a good work ethic and this basically means that you are develop a better way to be responsible and take care of yourself.
The first reason of why students should try to get good grades is because they can get scholarships from very good colleges and what this means is that the school pays for part of you college tuition or they can even pay for all of your college tuition if you get a full ride scholarship but those are harder to get than regular scholarships. This might seem stupid but if you attend a private college it's an average of 30,000 dollars for the tuition so if you get a scholarship you can save up to 30,000 dollars. So because you save all these money why don't you just put all your work in on all your grades because imagine what you would do with a extra 30,000 dollars.
The second reason is that when you have a better grades you will have a better GPA and that means you will go to some of the best colleges so if you wanna have a good job you just need to have a good GPA. Why would you want to be in a good college? Well because you will get better education and this will help you by you getting a job that pays more so you can live the fancy lifestyle you always dreamed of. The ways to get into the good colleges is that you have to have a good GPA, so if you just focus in school you will succeed in life and then you can live your life and you don't have to be a homeless person on the streets.
The third reason is you will get a good work ethic and what this means is that you will be able to focus on work and not get distracted so you will get more things done faster than your other peers. And to develop this skill is obviously working and when you get good grades like straight 4.0s you will get a good work ethic because you know how to manage your time and you will be able to do work faster than other people. The reason you would wanna develop a good work ethic is because you will be better at your job and so the boss will respect you more and then you get a raise and you will have a less chance of getting fired.
In conclusion kids should try to get good grades because of all the advantages they get in life if they just get good grades. And this is all proved by all the reasons I state, The first reason being students will be able to attain scholarships from bigger schools and getting scholarship will save you money because they cover tuition in colleges. The second reason being when you have a good GPA you will be able to go to some of the best colleges and when you go to good colleges you are able to get better jobs and earn more money and get a better education. The third reason is that you will develop a good work ethic and this ,means that you will be used to not being lazy and you can do your work faster and better than your other peers. So you can get all these advantages by just getting good grades in school and it is worth it in the long run.
