AVID Ceremony

On March 25, 46 seniors graduated from Avid. It was a fun and exciting night for them as they got recognized for all their years in high school and their commitment to Avid. 2 seniors got the chance to tell friends and families how Avid has been beneficial to them. Destanie Morales explained how the use of Cornell notes and TRF (Tutorial Request Form) helped her with some of her tough classes. She also mentioned how Avid gave her a chance to apply for scholarships which she will use when she goes to college. Destanie will be attending Heritage University. Another Senior, Armando Pena, also explained how avid has helped him. He explained how Avid is more than a class to him, it's a second family. He said he is honored to graduate with the class of 2017 and will always remember them. Armando will be attending WSU in Pullman where his brother is also attending.
