Campus Solutions

As said in previous a article, principal, Kim Casey has been trying to get students to class on time for a while now. And since she closed campus last week, she is now nipping it in the butt so we can have off campus lunch again. Although, if you haven't heard, campus was opened the 3rd week of May! This week. In this article, I will be introducing solutions to the problem for bad attendance. On Monday, it was the first day of off campus lunch, for all grades! However, attendance was worse than it’s ever been! Ms. Casey said she had a 5 page list of students that couldn’t leave because they were tardy after their lunch! Now, here’s some ways we can fix this, one of my peers had the idea of Saturday school. All of the students that can’t see to come to school on time or at all, they can makeup the time they lost on Saturdays. Although, I’m sure the staff wouldn’t appreciate that idea very much. Another said to extend the lunch for the students that individually have over an 85% attendance and for the students who don’t come on time, they have to split their lunch time with detention time. We should keep it only juniors and seniors that can leave campus. That’s fair. Ms. Casey has been trying very hard for students to get their attendance up. Students notice this and give back, just get to class on time, or just get up and go to school.
