No More Off Campus!

For a while now, Ms. Casey, Grandview High School principal, has been trying to kick attendance in the butt. Two weeks before the month of April came to a close, she announced if the attendance doesn’t get better than 85%, she will close campus for the week, maybe even the whole month of May! The last week of May, she gave everyone one a last chance for that 85%. She said everyone had the whole last week of April to improve it, otherwise no leaving for lunch. And after 20 some years of off-campus lunch, Casey had no choice but to close campus because attendance got worse! Let’s not blame this issue on Ms.Casey; let’s blame this on your peers that can’t seem to use their legs and get to class. Casey said we all can earn it back if we got to class and were there on time. And yes I said we ALL, that’s including you freshman and sophomores! So everyone get to class! ASAP! It’s not only upsetting staff, but it’s upsetting students! Colleges look at attendance remember that! Get to class everyone!
