Greyhounds off to State
May 9th the Grandview Greyhounds Hosted Toppenish, Othello, and East Valley at the Rich Leenhouts Stadium. Toppenish and Othello played against each other, competing for third and fourth place. Othello Huskies took the win home with the score of 3-2 over the Toppenish Wildcats. With this the Othello Huskies finished in third place for districts and Toppenish Wildcats finished in fourth place. The Second game was the Greyhounds against the East Valley Red Devils playing for second and first place in districts. The devils took the win with a score of 4-2 ver the Greyhounds, ending with the Grandview Greyhounds in second place and the Red Devils in first place making them League Champs. Although the Grandview Greyhounds didn’t win League Champs they are still off to state. They will be practicing even harder to make it far in the state rounds. The Greyhounds have made it to state rounds other years but never advanced to where they wish they could be. This year that is their gal they hope to make it far and of course everyone's goal is to Win number one in State. The Grandview Community would like to wish the Grandview Greyhounds the best of Luck out in the state rounds. Good Luck to the Boys and Bring home the win. Go Hounds !
