Summer on a Budget

There is 30 school days left till summer vacation. Now, if you don’t have a job or your mom won’t give you money and you think you won’t be able to have any fun, don’t worry. Here are a list of things you can do without overspending.

• Hike-It gives you a chance to get tanned,have the perfect insta pic with the view as the background and get that summer body you said you were going to get before summer.

• Go to the Pool- If you haven’t seen it yet, the grandview pool is expanding! Get a chance to go by and see what’s new.

• Clean/Organize- Get your life together before the next school year. It may seem lame but why stress about it later than stress about it now?

• See a movie- $5 tuesday at Sunnyside is the way to go especially since new movies like Captain Underpants, Annabelle 3, Cars 3 and many more are coming out this summer.

• Chalk- Remember when you were little and had that 24 pack of Chalk and drew whatever you wanted on the cement? Well now you can be a kid again and not have you mom yell at you for never going outside.

• Camp- Get some of your friends and have a campout in the backyard. Yes in the backyard; unless you want to sleep with the bears then be my guest. You can also see the stars in the sky and try to name some of them.

• Get a Job- This may be hard for some people as they want to enjoy summer but don’t want you want to come on the first day of school and make it rain as you enter the doors.

• Have a Yard Sale- Another opportunity to make money and get rid of your things. Even though you have to wake up early you can still get a tan as well. You can even include a lemonade stand if you want.

• Workout - You said you were going to get that summer body but why not get that fall body. It may seem hard but get a friend with you so both of you can get that fall body.

• School Supplies- As you start seeing those back to school commercials you know that it the end of summer but don’t you like getting new, cool stuff even though it's for school. Make sure to get the 64 pack of crayons WITH the sharpener, everybody will be jealous.
