Soccer: Grandview vs.Toppenish

April 27, 2017: it was time to for the Greyhounds to face the visiting team, the Toppenish Wildcats. This is a must-win game for the Greyhounds if they want to be at least co-league champs. There is a 3 way tie for first place between Grandview, East Valley and Toppenish. It was also Senior night for the Hounds and there would be nothing better than winning on this day. It's the start of the first half and Senior Alexis Correa scores in the 26th minute, assisted by Chayo Arriaga. The Hounds are now up 1-0. Six minutes later, minute 32, Alexis Correa scores again, assisted by Alex Martinez. Now the Hounds are up 2-0 at halftime and all they're trying to do now is keep on playing how they were playing in the first half and come out with the win. Second half, at minute 57, Moises Mancillas scores a free kick right outside the box for Toppenish to make the score 2-1. The rest of the half ends scoreless and the Greyhounds win the game 2-1, they are now co-league champs with East Valley.
