Greyhounds vs. Suns

March 10, 2017 the Grandview soccer boys travelled to Southridge for the first Non-League game. Junior Varsity played at 5:00 pm and Varsity played at 7:00 pm. This was a challenging game because the Greyhounds didn't have all their starting players ready for the game. Greyhounds Junior Varsity started off the first half calm with no shots, one save, and one corner, unlike the Suns Junior Varsity; in the first half they had six shots in which they made two goals and five corners. Second half Greyhounds had three shots, one save, and one corner, Suns had two shots, and two corners. Greyhound Varsity's first half was not as calm as Junior Varsity- they had six shots, two saves, and three corners. Suns Varsity had four shots and one save. The second half was more intense where Greyhounds had twelve shots and four saves, Suns had nine shots, eight saves, and one corner. Sun's number seven scored at 26:17 with the assist of number eight, and at 2:50 number eighteen scored the second goal for the Suns. Although the Grandview Greyhounds did not take the win they did try very hard and will comeback in their next game. Come out and support the Greyhounds on March 14, 2017 where we will be Hosting the Selah Vikings. Junior Varsity will play at 4 pm and Varsity will play at 6 pm. Good Luck to the Boys this season.
