Greyhounds Kick Off Jamboree

The boys soccer season officially begins March 9, 2017 with the Jamboree in Toppenish in which they will be playing Granger Spartans and Connell Eagles. The Grandview Greyhounds have been getting practices in for this game and are ready to take the first Wins of the season. Having to practice in this weather has been difficult due to the cold weather muscles tighten up, making it harder to practice at 100%. That doesn't stop the boys though they will practice no matter what to be able to do their best this soccer season. They have lost many players but have gained a good amount to help them get back on track. First game began for the Greyhound Varsity team against Spartans in which they tied 1-1, Junior Sergio Gomez made the shot for the Greyhounds. Grandview was dominating the game though with seven shots and two corners unlike Spartans who had one shot only which was the goal they made. Junior Varsity took the win over the Spartans with a score of 2-0 in which Seniors Angel Milanez and Ivan Roman scored. Greyhounds took on the Eagles on the second game Varsity and Junior Varsity ending 0-0. Both these teams took very little shots during the game Greyhounds had one shot and Connell had two shots and one corner during the Varsity game. We would like to wish good Luck to the Boys Soccer this Season.
