Moon Landing Theory

Have you ever heard people say that the moon landing was faked? Many people claim that the moon landing by Neil Armstrong in 1969 was staged. People have found proof showing its invalidity. Firstly, since the landing was televised people watching contemplated the impact made from hitting the surface of the moon, some claim there should have been dust because of course, the moon has fine lunar dust. Conspiracy theorists noticed that when Armstrong planted the American Flag, it was waving. If he was really on the moon, there wouldn’t have been a breeze to wave the flag. He was in space where there is no air. We all know that space has thousands of stars, right? Well, during the landing spectators pointed out that there was barely any visible. Also, theorists were quick to notice that when photographs of the landing were released, there was a mysterious object on Armstrong's helmet. Even though the picture is low quality, it resembles an overhead spotlight. But the question still remains.

People became very suspicious after they asserted that there was multiple light sources. Videos and photographs show there are shadows in different directions. Evidently, there is only one light source in space which is the sun. Having shadows in different directions furthered questioning. Which takes me to another set of evidence that has been proven. In pictures, people recognized a rock that has a “C” engraved. From the article, “10 Reasons the Moon Landing Could Be a Hoax” by Josh Fox, Fox acknowledges that “NASA has given conflicting excuses for the letter, on the one hand blaming a photographic developer for adding the letter as a practical joke, while on the other hand saying that it may simply have been a stray hair which got tangled up somewhere in the developing process.” Basically, if NASA is doing a cover up, Fox points out that the rock may be prop, and a set designer might have turned the rock the wrong way, accidently exposing it to the camera. In my personal opinion, I would agree the moon landing was fake due to Fox’s reasoning. I stand with those who believe NASA faked the moon landing in order to claim the title, “First to land on the moon.”
