GHS Loud and Proud
Many parts of Washington school districts are cracking down on attendance to have a better percentage on how many kids are coming to school, but what really matters are what the students feel about this. Many students really don't care if they show up to school, late to school, or even care about school. Some parents care about their child’s education. The education matters, but the way the students feel about it is they don't really care just as long as they're not failing. Some students don't come to school because they are all caught up with their work. Many students come to school to get their work done, or come because their might be a school event going on. To wrap this around our school involvement, some of the school population here at GHS aren't really involved with the school spirit. Many of the students don't get involved because they might not like the certain event that is happening. When it comes to Homecoming week students are all about school spirit. There was a chance on Thursday afternoon at the Toppenish middle school to show our love, and school spirit for GHS. The Boys basketball team fell short against Toppenish, but Grandview will always show love for our town and the involvement in it.
