The Life of Fidel Castro

Fidel Castro was one of the most infamous leaders of Cuba. During Castro's time of being a leader, thousands of cubans left the country and settled in Florida. This is why to this day you are most likely to see lots of Cubans in Miami, Florida. Or also just Florida in general. Although, before Castro became leader, Fulgencio Batista was the current leader of that time. Castro had this idea of overthrowing Batista, he had about 150 supporters that planned to attack the Moncada military barracks near Santiago de Cuba. His idea was to try and overthrow Batista, but his plan didn't work out and Castro was arrested and sentenced to 15 years in prison.
Fidel Castro was a Cuban dictator born in 1926, in 1958 Fidel Castro and the people that followed him began a warfare campaign. They fought the Cuban military and overthrew the Cuban dictator, Fulgencio Batista. Fidel Castro became the new dictator of Cuba in 1959. While he was leader, lots of improvements were made. For example, he helped health care and education in a good way. On the other hand… Castro also had a really negative side, he killed or imprisoned anybody who did not believe in him; or anybody who he thought was an enemy to him and his people.
So how was castro eligible to become leader of Cuba? Knowing he was so cruel and careless to people. However… Castro came to power with support from most of the Cuban city farmers promising them to change or make a new constitution, and make all liberties civil and political. Although, after Castro was established as dictator of Cuba, he began to make other decisions opposite to what he told the people of Cuba. This all lead up to why the people of cuba started to leave the country. He was un faithful and unloyal to his people.
Fidel was Prime Minister from 1959 to 1976, and then became president 1976 to 2008. He resigned as president due to health issues and died at the age of 90 on November 25th, 2016. There were no details listed as to how Fidel Castro died.
